My Best Friend's Wedding!!

To the most beautiful bride I know, I dedicate this post to you! 

My Dearest Deanna,

It was such a joy to attend your wedding this past weekend!!! I feel as though it was just yesterday that we were writing notes back and forth to each other in between classes. To believe that we’ve known each other since my 80’s floral, high-waters glory days!!

You have truly been one of the biggest blessings in my life and, within this love for you, it brings me great happiness to know that God has entrusted to you an amazing husband! I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw Chris on the dance floor surrounded by kids and having the time of his life! Even in a little moment like that I was able to see so much of you in him!! There was a strange familiarity when I met Chris and I think that it may be because in a way I’ve known him all along. He’s been the husband that has been forever impressed in your heart! It’s amazing to think that within this marriage you are able to begin this beautiful period of discovery where you come to know yourself more deeply!

Seeing how happy you are with Chris it is evident that you have been given an incredible gift. When you fell in love with Chris, your love took you beyond appearances and you discovered his true self. For this, you see him more clearly than anybody else.  From the joy you radiate it is clear that it is an experience of intense and incredible beauty! As you begin to share in your daily life you will come to know that such a love  allows you to see even the smallest aspects of life in a renewed and glorified way. God has amazing plans for the two of you!!!

You are such an example to me Deanna! I love you with my whole heart and I cannot wait to see the many adventures, joys, and blessings that will come from this new beginning!

I will forever cherish the memory of your wedding and the beautiful image of you walking down the aisle so happy! May this happiness and love always be found in the heart of your family with Chris.
